Who is eligible to take part in the competition?

1. Quiz - open to everyone but it was especially designed for students aged 15-18
2. Ideas Contest - all students participating in JA-YE programmes who are 15-18 years old.
3. European Award - winning teams of the National Company of the Year Competitions in 2008 of Junior Achievement-Young Enterprise affiliations. Participating student companies need to obtain a "Responsible Business Certificate"

How can I get the Responsible Business Certificate?

• By completing the Responsible Business Quiz with at least 75% success you can get your personalized Responsible Business Certificate.

How many times can I try the quiz?

• We hope that you will not need to try too many times if you first visit the Useful Links site and learn more about Responsible Business.

What business idea can be submitted?

• You can submit an idea for a possible business (product, service or both) which meets the contest criteria: demonstrate strong market potential, demonstrate social responsibility, demonstrate environmental excellence, be innovative.

When is the deadline for submitting the responsible business ideas?

• Entries must be in English and uploaded by 5.00pm May 31, 2008. Winners will be notified on July 1, 2008.

If my student company did not qualify for the JA-YE European Company of the Year Competition can I apply for the European Award?

• No. Only student companies that win the national competition are eligible for this award.

If I win the national competition and qualify for the JA-YE European Company of the Year Competition do I still need to get the Responsible Business Certificate?

• Yes. Participating student companies need to obtain a "Responsible Business Certificate".
