Responsible Business Ideas Contest
The Business Ideas Contest is open to JA students who have participated in any JA High School Program within the current school year.
This contest awards the best responsible business ideas from JA students across North America.
You can submit an idea for a possible business (product, service or both) which meets the contest criteria.
The best ideas will be judged on the following criteria:
Time Frame: September 1, 2009 - May 31, 2010.
Minimal investment, maximum yield: Describe your idea and convince us on maximum three 8½ X 11 pages, brief and to the point, why your responsible business idea deserves to win. Please submit your idea in English.
This competition is by submission only and can be awarded to any JA student company in US and Canada.
Each JA student company can submit their business ideas in the following way:
Submissions received after the deadline (May 31, 2010) will not be considered.
The organizers will review all received proposals and present them to an international jury of HP CSR practitioners and JA representatives. The jury will then produce a shortlist and select the winner. The winner will be announced on this website on June 15, 2010.
The winning team will receive an HP product for each member of the team (max. 5) and each member of the team (max. 5) will be invited to attend the North American JA Student Company of the Year Competition 2010 in Minneapolis, MN.
