The Lithuanian team ‘Greblys Company’, created a suite of educational tools including a book and computer games which are designed to help young children learn the basics principles of recycling in an easy and enjoyable way. The ‘Greblys’ team was awarded the European HP Responsible Business Award in 2009. |
German team ‘solAround’ developed an online portal to bring together people interested in investing in solar power systems with those interested in renting out their roofs. They organized the first Solar Fair in Peine developing a strategic card game on solar energy and publishing the ‘SolarNews’ magazine. ‘SolAround’ won the European HP Responsible Business Online Ideas Contest in 2009. |

Touch of Green Company from Estonia invented an IT platform for the neutralisation of carbon footprint by planting trees. After purchasing the plantation service the customer receives a certicate claiming how much CO2 has been neutralised and the exact coordinates of the planted trees. ‘Touch of Green’ won the JA-YE European Company of the Year Competition in 2009. |

Team ‘NEFIBE’ from Mexico developed CRONOX, an intelligent pill case that used digital technology to remind users to take their medication. NEFIBE's product provides a valuable social service and the company embraced socially and environmentally responsibility in its marketing, product sourcing and packaging, and employee relations. ‘NEFIBE’ won the Latin American HP Responsible Business Online Ideas Contest in 2009. |
